KLITE 1 Watt launched by Kwality

Photonics today announced the release of KLITE 1 Watt, an LED based light
source which achieves a benchmark in brightness by providing an output of up to
20 Lumens from a single white emitter package. This addition to the current
profile of products delivers almost twenty times the flux delivered by an
ordinary LED greatly expanding the kinds of light fixtures and luminaries
that can benefit from small size and long life of LED lamps. It greatly
lowers the cost per lumen too. The
KLITE 1Watt utilizes hi-end technology which enables it to increase light
output even while maintaining the heat and current in limits. It also helps
overcome the undesirable colour variations and halo effects of other solid
state light sources, significantly improving the colour consistency and beam
quality of white light. KLITE 1W can be used in LED Light bubs leading to
far less power consumption and negligible heat generation. A light bulb uses
11 watts of power. A comparable LED based light bulb uses just 1 watt.
Although the costs are higher for the LEDs, the positive results are more
than worth it. The
KLITE 1W is available as single unmounted emitter or pre mounted in linear,
ring and flood patterns in white. Kwality
